چکیده

Granulocyte function was evaluated using activity of S. aureus and group D strepperitoneal exudate granulocytes from a tococcus by CHS cells through 90 mm of instrain of beige mice with the Chediak-Hicubation. The bactericidal defect was most gashi syndrome (CHS). Defective granulocyte chemotaxis in the Chediak-Higashi syndrome.

In vivo and in vitro studies of granulocyte chemotaxis were performed in three patients with the Chediak-Higashi syndrome. The chemotactic response of Chediak-Higashi cells by this technique averaged approximately 40% of no...

Abnormal bactericidal, metabolic, and lysosomal functions of Chediak-Higashi Syndrome leukocytes.

Phagocytic, antimicrobial, and metabolic functions were studied in leukocytes obtained from three patients with the Chediak-Higashi syndrome (CHS) and compared to normals, individuals, heterozygous for Chediak-Higashi syndrome, and two subjects with chronic granulomatous disease of childhood (CGD). Chediak-Higashi syndrome leukocytes showed normal ingestion of a variety of bacteria, Candida alb...

Chediak-Higashi syndrome: reversal of increased susceptibility to infection by bone marrow transplantation.

Transplantation of normal bone marrow to mice with the Chediak-Higashi syndrome (CHS) resulted in normal granulopoiesis and a reversal of their increased susceptibility to challenge with intravenous Candida albicans. These findings suggest that (1) the leukocyte defect in CHS can be reversed by marrow transplantation and (2) the mechanism for increased susceptibility to infection in these anima...
